Free user interface mod

UIExtensions is a free user interface mod for Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition that adds several custom menus made for modders and users alike. The menus include a cosmetic menu, dye menu, and stats menu, to name a few. Mods that use these menus include Extensible Follower Framework and Dye Manager.

Adds modder menus

UIExtensions adds several new menus that can be used for modding. For users who have the RaceMenu mod, they can add Cosmetic and Dye menus. Other menus include List, Magic, Selection, Stats, Text Entry, and Wheel. Mods that require this file include Class Overhaul, Faction Spy, Player Equipment Manager, and Project Proteus. 

Adds new menu functions

Once this mod is installed, the menus can perform unique functions. The dye menu will help players apply dyes to armor, for example. It can optionally consume these items and change the number of dyes that can be blended. This menu will display information in a list format while the selection menu functions similarly to the Vanilla favorites menus. 

Overcoming bugs

Some users report bugs, like the desktop crashing or errors in loading the UIExtensions mod. In most cases, if the game doesn’t load to the menu, you may be missing a master file. Always make sure you download the most up-to-date version of SKSE to run this mod. There’s also a patch for UIExtensions available on Nexus Mods Manager.
